EAM v EEM

EAM v EEM

2002-03-22 by davidhatton2000

Hi,

Can anyone say with sure and certain knowledge whether EAM has been
renamed EEM (epson ENHANCED Matte)? All the places I've looked don't
seem to want to say 'this is EAM renamed' or 'was EAM in case your
trying to find it' or even 'an enhanced archival matte'..

TIA

DH

DH,

I believe it is now called Epson Endurance Matte, not Epson Enhanced Matte.
The word Archival was changed as many felt it was deceiving and Epson
received a lot of end usser input about the topic. (Nice way to put it).

Mike

Todd,

Thanks for the link. I was wrong about it being Epson Endurance Matte, it is
in fact Epson Enhanced Matte.

Thanks,
Mike

Hey Guys,

Many thanks for the almost instantaneous response. As usual
this 'childish list' has come up trumps,

Cheers,

Mike, Atlex is calling it "Enhanced Matte", and I ordered a couple boxes that should be here early next week. The weight is a hair heavier
than archival, but can't see much difference elsewhere that would tell you if it is the same paper or not. Sure hope they got rid of the
watermark!

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
