The media street has a chip in the cartridges that tell the printer it is always full of ink. No hassles resetting or reprograming chips.
It's the one to get.

The MIS one also seems to require custom software and is incompatible
with the Mac. (I asked them about this and they said "sorry, if you
use a mac, please don't buy one of these 'cause there's no way to make
it work at all.")

The one from media street is a nicer more elegant unit that works fine
with a mac.

There is a third system too from WeInk.com that may have some advantages in the connections and a always full chip like the NoMoreCarts CIS. Has anyone had any first had experience with this and quad/hex inks?

Martin,

The system from WeInk.com is also sold at http://inkjetgoodies.com
under the name of Camel. They are built just as well as
the 'nomorecarts', have a read only chip, and are very easy to
install. There is little price advantage however, and they must be
either custom built empty or you can have the folks at weink.com
prime it with ink which you supply otherwise they are only available
with epson replacement ink. For the convenience of time,
the 'nomorecarts' cis from inkjetgoodies.com, mediastreet.com, or
inkjetart.com makes sense because they are provided empty with
unlimited ink options. This is my 2 cents as a reseller and user of
both the Camel (weink.com) and the CIS (nomorecarts.com)take it for
what its worth . . .
