John,

As Stephen I also use ProfilerPlus from Colorvision with excellent results -
Epson 1200 w/Generations 4. I takes some elbow grease building nice printer
profiles for the first time, but once you get the hang of it building
profiles will go smoothly.

If you go this route I have some tips I'll pass on to you or anyone who
would like to use ProfilerPlus.

The other option is buying a professional built profile. The average price
is US$100.00 per profile. C David Tobie - CDTobie @ aol.com - who frequents
the Epson and ColorSync lists builds excellent profiles for my clients
(large format printers)

Best,

John V.
