Check your Yahoo preferences: serious

Check your Yahoo preferences: serious

I'm forwarding this along as I think it could be very relevant for most of
us.

I was sure I'd been getting a lot more spam in my Yahoo mail account
over the last 2 weeks !!!

Yahoo is clearly trying to compete with AOL to see who can be the
most obnoxious hated internet company in existence...they've been
taken over by suits who have no roots in the internet and are not
worried at all about ruining the experience...and they are forgetting
that they owe their very existence to the users and to "being cool"
since (unlike AOL who provides connectivity) they don't offer
anything unique but "environment" which they are polluting to the
point where it is not worth it.

They will drive away the cutting edge users and not even notice it
until they find out they have lost their audience completely. (MAYBE
WE SHOULD SHORT THE STOCK?).

Yikes...I'm ranting. But Yahoo's roots were so cool...and what they
have become is SO UGLY!!!

Tom and Todd, Thanks for calling my attention to this. Yahoo did
reset all my choices. It is incredible that they could get away with
it. They probably do not honor our preferences anyway.

Maybe http://www.blogger.com would be better. Frank
