The "marketing preferrences" are linked to your Yahoo account and not to the
individual group membership. As for contacting Yahoo.....Well they don't
seem to want to be bothered and I really don't know where to point you.

Martin,

I don't seem to have this problem in the UK with Yahoo.co.uk. My account
info details are still as I set them - to not send me special offers.

Bob,

I just got my e-mail notice yesterday but others have gotten theirs quite
some time ago. I suspect that they will get around to you eventually but
they are give advanced warning.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
