Robert,

Epson Fine Art Smooth is more of an Ecru color. The BrightCube Eclipse
Satine is a whiter paper, but not what I would call bright white.

So did you mean to say "Smooth" in your post...not "textured"

The Brightcube comes in two version..."Bright White"...that's the original
one...and the new "Soft White"...which has no brighteners in it...just
wondering which one you had profiled.

Robert,

Last night I printed a few inmages with the new profiles. The tonal 
smoothness and detail appeared to be excellent. I did not print any 
21 step wedges as I did not have a lot of time. But, for now, it 
appears that the profiles look good.

Excellent.  I will have a detailed posting on Imageprint in the next couple
of days...a lot of detail on how it works for BW...what to expect for people
who haven't used it.  Your feedback on this...as an actual user would be
most helpful.
