Digital BW, The Print

This time next week I hope to be printing. I am having a new all black
computer built, AMD 2100, raid 0 with 2- 100 gig western digital 8 meg cache
drives stripped gig micron ram ddr, 40gig system drive, built in LAN, tower
case, cd-rw 40x12x48, cd 52x, firewire, usb 2.0 , Gigabyte MB, Optical
keyboard/mouse, 3 year warranty all for 1699.00. I also bought a Lacie
blueIII 22" monitor. I think that's it, I have my MIS inks, Epson 7000,
various papers,canvas, Colorbyte imageprint and plenty of material to print.

Am I missing anything ??  I was going to build a dual processor but I don't
think I will spend enough time in Photoshop using those filter that support
MP's. I may build another system later if need be. I will probably install a
SCSI card and 15k rpm drive for a scratch disc.

I don't know how much photoshop work you do, but I
find a Wacom Intuos tablet invaluable for the work I
do.  ..if you don't have one already.  What type of
video card are you using?

DVD-RW.
