What about dual Xeon processors to go along with the RAM.

That was a thought, but I am not sure if the extra expense of the horsepower
will benefit me enough right now. I have built many Discreet Logic system
using Pro's striping 8 drives ( two separate drive arrays) with two ultra
wide SCSI cards, as one big drive. I could sustain 20 meg sec for hours at a
time for our TV show. Its still shown globally via sat networks.

Now, I just want to make great ( no, fantastic blow your mind ) B&W prints
