OT: Galleries in Santa Fe

I'm planning on traveling to Santa Fe next month and was wondering if
any of the local galleries feature photographers working with
Piezo/Digital B&W images? Any ideas? Thanks.

Larry,

I don't know about digital images, but for some of the finest
traditional B&W photography anywhere, I would recommend a
visit to the Andrew Smith Gallery (www.andrewsmithgallery.com)
in Santa Fe. They are one of the premier fineart photography
galleries in the U.S. with work from Edward Weston to Paul
Caponigro to the latest. There are at least a half dozen or more
other galleries that feature photography with one specializing in
platinum prints. Visit any gallery and grab a free "Collector's
Guide" to the local galleries when you get in town. Enjoy!

Larry,

There is a big photo gallery not far off the main square in Santa Fe
(the name is totally escaping me now). Most of the work I saw was
silver, but they did have one two digital prints on display, Iris
prints, not Piezo, if I remember correctly. This was around July of last
year.

Larry,

No matter what don't miss the Gerald Peters Gallery. He always has the best
art in town and publishes beautifully produced books and catalogs including
photographers. It's walking distance from the plaza and has parking.

Say "HI!" for me to Manny and Milton at MonteCristi Custom Hatfitters if
you have a chance!

Best darn Western Hatfitters in the SouthWest... I've been using them
for over 10 years and purchased 4 hats from them (a family member just
ordered the fourth as a gift for me - let's just say it set her back
more than the Canon S9000 cost)

If you do drop in tell them I said to tell Good Buffalo to get that
custom hatband finished for me or I'll be sending Manny some of those
women he doesn't want to see in pictures.. LOL (inside joke)

In any case, Santa Fe is an awesome place.. have fun and shoot some good
B&W while you are there.. (Don't miss the evening cocktails on the roof
of La Fonda if you can get an invite)

[Mahesi Caplan-Faust] Has anyone any experience with the use of a graphics
tablet and PS. I have been getting reppetative strain and am therefore
considering buying one. I know very little about them and wonder how
suitable they are for PS work. Any advise would be appreciated.
