Sepia-FS Draft Formula

Sepia-FS Draft Formula

2002-04-23 by Martin Wesley

Paul Roark has pulled together a couple of his posts regarding his draft formula for a sepia toned MIS Full Spectrum ink set. I have posted this in the files section in the folder:

Files > Ink Sets, reviews and techniques > MIS FS

With this, MIS-FS Standard and MIS-FS Neutral, you should be able to blend a really wide variety of ink hues for use with the Piezo driver.

If any of you give this a try, please let us know how it goes.

Cooling off the MIS-FS inks?

2002-04-23 by J Brubaker

I asked this question once before with no response, so I'll ask again :)
I'm currently printing with the MIS-FS quad inkset on an Epson 1160.
The resulting prints are very nice, but I would prefer a slightly cooler
look. Is there a way to cool the prints by adding a bit of blue ink to
one or more of the 4 standard gray inks? I'm using a CIS with 4 oz.
bottles. I seem to remember Jerry Olson cooling his prints this way a
while back? Thanks in advance for any guidance that anybody can
provide. --- John.
