file texts in WORD

Jeff (and Martin), could you post your workflow comments in the list
files in some form of plain text? Though WORD sometimes appears to be
ubiquitous, it ain't, and the old MS WORD readers won't work with any
version newer than W2000. Moreover, MSoft has made it almost
impossible (I find) to download even these older free WORD readers
(and the one I had went south).
Much obliged,

Subject: Quad partitioned workflow curves -- It's not rocket science

Martin has kindly posted the workflow I used to produce my RGB
partitioned quad curves. The file name is profile_make2.pdf. It's
located in Files> Ink Sets, review and techniques> MIS FS....

Bob:

Thanks for the reminder!

The curve generation document is in pdf format. The version E
workflow is a Word .doc :-( My appologies. Martin is totally
inocent!!

Until I get a chance to make the switch, you can download the pdf
version from the MIS Quadtone Workflow page.

Bob -

I don't see any MSWord files in there at all - only text, html, and
pdf - all of which are readable via free software. PDF files, if you
don't know about them are Adobe Acrobat files - Macs have a built-in
reader for them, and PC/Unix/etc users can download the Acrobat reader
for free from Adobe - it's a very cross-platform system. I believe
netscape has a builtin plugin for PDF files also, though I'm not sure.

Doh, scratch that - I see the file you mean. My apologies. If you'd
like, I can convert it to some other format and mail it to you.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
