I am in trouble... I tried the Museo paper with MIS VM inks and the Sommerset enhanced paper too. The Museo paper does NOT give very nice results and the Sommerset seems better but it is not recommended by MIS to use this paper with 4 tones VM. Any comment about this? May be I need to improve my workflow the museo paper?

Yeah...Museo seems to work better with Cone inks than with MIS inks. I get ok prints with MIS FS-N using the Orwell profile in the Piezo driver...but I can't help you with MIS VM...no one has developed a curve to the best of my knowledge...and I think Paul also had problems. Imageprint will be the best solution when they come out with their driver that supports the VM set...that's what I'm waiting for to try VM. I'm sure that Museo will work great then. Sommerset Enhanced is a really dicey paper...if there are dyes in the inks you can get really poor fading/warming results...I wouldn't use it...besides...it's a fortune. Try Brightcube's Eclipse Satine Soft white. This is a two sided coated paper that has one smooth surface and one similar to museo. It seems to work well with the Epson driver workflows that I've tried with either MIS FS-N or Cone inks...so my guess is that it will work with Paul's standard VM curves (also works great with the MIS Archival Color inks that I believe Paul uses to tone). You can get it from www.photoinkjet.com. There is both a white and soft white. The soft white has no optical brighteners like Museo...the white is closer to Somerset Enhanced in color (loaded with OB's).
