Make 2" to 3" roll paper adapter

Hello (This message has been crossposted in a couple other forums.) This has been a subject many times here, but I found a simple solution for my epson 7000: I had some heavyduty 3" mailing tubes with friction fit end caps. I used the caps - found the center in the cap, and used a hole saw to cut a 2" hole. The caps then snap fit into the 3" core paper roll, and the existing spindle for the 2" roll paper fits nicely in the cut holes. One would want to have the heavier plastic end caps to have the most longevity, especially for the weight of paper for a 44" printer. best, ken smith http://www.kensmithart.com
