EAM turning green ?

EAM turning green ?

2001-08-25 by am1000@videotron.ca

Hi,

Here's a snippet from a recent Jon Cone message on the other list.

"DO NOT PRINT ON EPSON ARCHIVAL MATTE! IT IS KNOWN TO TURN GREEN IN
THE PRESENCE OF OZONE"

So, what's a good replacement for EAM ?

There is no replacement for EAM/EHM if you use it for proofing.
Nothing prints as good and is as cheap.
After proofing: forget about your EAM prints.
Print Fine Art on acid free / lignin free paper ... and hope the
best for the future (and yeah, ..... don´t sell your darkroom
equipment yet, wait a couple of years - even if you don´t use it).
You can´t do more at the moment.
Good luck to us all.
