Piezo prints sold through Photo Techniques!

Piezo prints sold through Photo Techniques!

2001-08-25 by Antonis Ricos

I thought the list should be aware of page 41 in the current issue of
PhotoTechniques (Sep/Oct 2001):
Collector Prints: Landscapes - Piezography Printed.

John Custodio offers his prints for sale as part of the magazine's ongoing
commitment to offer selected works at a good price.

The controversial part:
The magazine claims that "The longevity of these prints is several hundred
years". Yet, "these prints are made on 12x14 Epson Archival Matte paper".

I remember John was on the Piezo list but haven't "seen" him there lately.
Should we contact him for comments?

There is a URL for "more prints for sale online" at
http://www.phototechmag.com/col_custodio.htm

Antonis,

That is good news. The word is getting out and inkjet output is
gaining acceptance.

I am also very relieved to know that my Piezo prints will last
hundreds of years. It is nice to know someone has figured this out.;-)

John Custodio has posted on the Piezo list a few times. In fact he is
the guy who's print on EAM turned green in the elevator!

I wonder what paper he is using for this edition?

Martin
