What does the Niagara II have that the original does not?

Ink.   It comes pre-loaded with ink -- Generations Ink.
So now we have yet another obstacle to using the
ink that we want.  Just another hassle, hopefully there
will continue to be some way to get empty ones.

...it is a lot more easy to install, has a built in bottle rack 
system, etc., it's actually pretty slick but, it comes pre-primed 
with p-n-p, gen4, or gen5 and doesn't come empty...you can check them

Media Street doesn't have black hex inks, so why wouldn't they sell the
niagara without inks?. They were working on black quads a long time ago,
but nothing ever came of it.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
