A question of Process...

I'm a poker...I like to look under rocks & over hills. This gets me into trouble with Photoshop and printing with the MIS VM inks because there's so many ways to influence the colors...and get lost along the way. For me, right now, I find that my Canon G2 Digital files are best printed with Epson Driver RGB mode with, or without Roark Curves (using the 1280 warm curve set on a 1270 Printer, PC platform, Photo Paper setting, Eclipsebrightcube Softwhite paper). If there are curves I often need to lighten the blacks a bit, they are blocking up compared to non-curve applied print My DuoScan images are printing better with Epson driver from a CMYK file and no curves at all. Manipulate channel individually via curves dialog if needed. Would like to understand more about what I'm doing...will have to go back and do some re-reading in hopes of a clearer question. FWIW-Sincerely, Cleavis
