Digital BW, The Print

Tech4x5,

I have found Silverfast to be quirky at times. I have the same scanner, PS7
and Silverfast version (plus others) installed and running okay on my Win 2K
machine. Try a full uninstall and then reinstall. If that doesn't do it,
give Silverfast tech support a call tomorrow morning. They have been very
good to work with in the past.

I agree with Martin, it can be quirky.  Even with PS6, as I use it.  I
found the twain works much more reliably than the plug-in for me with
my Nikon LS-4000.

It sounds like your CD installed version of SilverFast is not Photoshop 7 
compatable. Check their website for info and updates.

I use Photoshop 7 on XP with an Epson 2450 and the Silverfast SE works fine.
My connection is firewire.
