Polaroid 120 - new firmware in beta

Just thought all of you with the polaroid 120 scanners would like to 
know that when I ordered my glass carrier for the 120 today the rep 
said that they have new firmware in beta testing right now that will 
allow scans of the full glass area allowing a scan of the full strip - 
sounds cool.

hi trevor-
from what i was told yesterday it is a new unreleased version (not
version 1.33 - which he told me to download for the glass carrier i was
ordering). He said it was in beta testing and should released soon. And
from what he said the new version would allow the entire glass area to
be scanned. He added that he had checked the beta version out and said"
it was really cool!"

Just to be clear, do you know if your rep was talking about a new firmware 
version ie later than firmware v1.33 that was released last week along 
with the Insight 5.5.1 upgrade.

If it really is a later version then it looks as if 6x18 scanning might 
not be far away.
