Digital BW, The Print

In the next few weeks I'll need to either order more VM inks for my 1280/CIS
or possibly switch to the VM Sepia. I'd prefer to switch. However, I'm now
accustomed to the VM curves and if I understand Paul's comments regarding
the use of the 1280 VM curves, I'll need to do more tweaking with those
curves and the VM Sepia inks.

Am I understanding this correctly, and has this been the experience of those
who've tried these inks in a 1280?

Although I'd love to make the switch to get the sepia capability, I'm
concerned about the amount of time I'd need to spend tweaking the curves
before I can get satisfactory prints. Over the next several months I need to
spend more time printing and less time tweaking curves and so am a little
leery of making the switch at this time.

Any thoughts from the group would be appreciated.
