And this is the very reason photography had such a difficult time being recognized as a legitimate art form. It sill is not recognized as a legitimate art from in all quarters. I agree there tends to be too much concentration on technique rather than content and we must somehow "return to simplicity" to revive the artistic side. Truman Sanders-Herring wrote:
