Profile for PiezoTone and Eclipse Satine Bright

Profile for PiezoTone and Eclipse Satine Bright

2002-07-03 by Martin Wesley

Does anyone have any recommendations as to which profile to use in the Piezo driver with the PiezoTone inks and Eclipse Satine Bright White paper?

I gave the H. German Etching profile a try and the results are pretty good but there is posterization in the darker tones. If someone has had better luck with another profile please let me know.

The PiezoTone inks do seem to work much better with the Eclipse than the originals.

Thanks,

Martin,

I used the Wells River profile over the weekend and it seemed to work
well. The receiving layer (coating) of the Eclipse Satine requires a
little bit more ink than most papers, so you may need to dinker with
it a bit.
