Piezotone vs. MIS FS
2002-07-09 by Stephen Jennings
On a whim I just printed a b&w image using MIS FS ink and Conetech glossy
paper, and the results surprised me: no bronzing. Haven't tested for
smudging yet. Then I ran out of ink so I put in my new Piezotone cartridges
and reprinted the same image. As expected, it was a little warmer and a
little contrastier, but the ink was clearly sitting on the surface of the
glossy paper. Anyone else notice this difference? What do you make of it?
This isn't a complaint since I do most of my printing on Concord Rag,
Photorag and EAM. Just something I noticed.
