MIS VM Sepia and 1270

Success!! OK, I printed out a 13x19 with the MIS VM Sepia set using Paul's NCA Warm curve.. I was a bit chagrined to get a beautiful neutral/cold print.. Next I switched to Paul's NCA Cold Curve.. Yuck.. this print was the definition of Posterization. Finally I chose Tyler Boley's 1280 (even though I am using a 1270) Cld03 curve dated 4-22-2002. It was fantastic. Simply gorgeous Sepia print. I'm printing these on Red River Sheer and the curve is right on. Paul, are you still planning n creating separate SepiaMix curves? If not, might I suggest we ask Tyler to release a set of the 4-22 curves simply renamed so that they correspond to the "inverted" tonal scale of the Sepia mix.. I think it would make for quicker adoption of the inkset if there were appropriately named curves, that buyers could simply download and put to work, without having to constantly think in reverse.. At the very least an info sheet should be created making clear the necessity of using the curves in the opposite of the expected cold/warm scheme. I'd be more than willing to do so, but renaming the curves of someone else, etc. I think would be inappropriate for me to do.. Keith [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
