which is where you must have set yourself up as a member in the first
place, and change your email settings, or turn them off entirely.

I believe you're the only one with your password for Yahoo who can do
this.

Your wish is my command and your membership will be cancelled. For future
reference you can be a member and elect not to receive e-mail but read the
posts on line. I would say about half the members participate this way.
