You have some settings wrong, or your monitor is not correctly
calibrated. The picture on screen should very closely match paul's
curves and VM inks.

But simply adding a curve layer with one of the curves i.e. neutral
cool will darken the image considerably, doesn´t it?  

I there another tutorial on this except the one on the MIS site?

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
