Workflow locations

2002-07-23 by neilbell66

Hello all. I'm new to the list and looking for some help locating
some workflow options. I have an 1160, Peizo system and have
tested MIS, old Piezo and new Piezotones. I'm getting fairly good,
but somewhat variable results using the Peizo driver (depending
on the mood of my printer and the ink in it).

So my question is where can I find workflows that would allow
me to test the Epson driver with quad inks when I run into trouble
with the Piezo driver? I've heard people refer to DeWoolf and
Randall workflows/curves.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

In addition to the MIS web site mentioned by Richard, you might want
to checkout the Files section of this forum under Image Processing
and Ink Sets for very useful information. When you are ready to
start tweaking the curves (either RGB partitioned or lumped) to your
taste or to new papers, the document profile_make2.pdf in Files> Ink
Sets> MIS> MIS FS briefly outlines a *how to* using your scanner as a
densiometer.
