I haven't run into the problem... BUT, I have seen higher metamerism 
with certain papers...  The polymer coated papers did better than cast 
coated papers in my experience..

I do know that the metamerism is VERY paper dependent unfortunately.

On some cast coated papers, it was quite apparent..

I'd suggest trying a sampler pack of the Lyson marketed papers before 
giving up... They tend to be tweaked for the inks..
