[Digital BW] Print Exchange - Status

[Digital BW] Print Exchange - Status

2001-08-29 by shaun@smartt.com

Hey gang,

I've taken the majority of exchange communication "off-list" but
thought I should encourage anyone still considering or unaware of
the plan to contact me as soon as you can. We're up to 20
participants and I don't want anyone to miss a chance to take part.

Jason Defontes, the coordinator of the first PiezoBW exchange, has
posted some excellent advice in the PiezoBW group. I encourage
everyone signed up already or considering joining to read his
suggestions as I intend to adopt most of these guidelines as
written!

As we get closer to understanding the composition of the group and
level of interest, the following boundaries are forming:

- a print protector sleeve to hold your print and info sheet is
essential
- there will be one group only I think, to keep it under control
this will be 25-30 prints and then we go to the waiting list
- I'll set up PayPal for shipping charges but I encourage the
UPS/Fedex scheme Jason recommends
- If you're not going to use Fedex/UPS boxes, make sure that what
you choose will hold A4 as well as Letter Size

I can't even read Jason's message accurately :-) One of the
participants brought it to my attention that Jason noted that the
handy-sized/"stackable" boxes are available from Fedex and the USPS
(the United States Postal Service) not UPS as I previously wrote.

Sorry for the confusion,

Shaun Granleese

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
