Which temp storage is most reliable?

Hello Group! which of the myriad of storage devices for digital camera images is the most reliable in the field? It wouldn't have to hold more than 5 or 6 gigabytes, but I do want something reliable. I don't have a laptop to take along on photo shoots. Jerry
