Can't speak to the 2200 but I have a 1200 and they have a tendency to have
banding problems with Piezo.  They're fine with the MIS inks but I would
definitely go with a 1280 if you're looking to get a Piezo system.

If your interested in a 1280 I just ordered one from
electified.com for $388 then you get a $100 rebate on top of that-- $288 
plus shipping
Refurb thought but I bought my 1270 from them with good luck.

I just checked out the website and would like to point out that they are hawking refurbs for that price. B & H is selling new for  $469 , $30 instore certificate, and $100 mail in rebate equals  $339 plus tax (if any)  and shipping.

I have to agree with Carolyn and Joel. The 1200 would be my last choice for
grayscale inks. The 1280 is a much better printer.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
