piezo auto-montage

Why would a PS file cause the piezo driver to output multiple, over-
lapping images? The same file will print fine with the Epson driver.
This happens from time to time and has me stumped. I have to re-scan
the image and start over.

thanks,

AZ

I've never seen such, Alan. Which system are you working with? How is
your free drive space?

Tim,
I'm on a PC - 512mb ram , PS uses 75% and my drive was recently de-fragged.
My files are rarely over 70mb. It is an annoying but not fatal quirk.

The only thing that comes to mind is that the spooling may be getting
corrupted. If you can spool to a separate partition with some tens of
MB free it might help.

Tim,

I figured out the problem. When the image is longer than the paper printing
size allowable it simply crops itself at one end. If it is slightly wider
it prints montages. I had set a "user size" that conflicted with the image
file but, oddly, didn't get a warning. btw this was in *portrait* so image
height = paper's short axis.
