I'm with Julian! I have the Polaroid SS4000 - made by Microtek - it is awesome 
and it does not suffer from depth of field problems as many Nikon scanners do. I 
have used Nikon scanners many times  and like the Polariod much better. The 
insides are the same as the SS4000 scanner just different covers.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
