For sleeves, you might want to check out http://clearenvelopes.com/ If you get the ones with sticky flaps, be sure to get the "protective closures" where the sticky stuff is on the bag and not the flap, or you WILL wind up with prints stuck to the flaps, trust me. -Jason -----Original Message----- From: frankg_photo [mailto:frank@...] And sleeves to protect prints - are these what everyone's using ? http://www.lightimpressionsdirect.com/servlet/OnlineShopping? Frank, Light Impressions now has storage boxes in all the sizes you mentioned and 17x22 as well. Still nothing in portfolio type boxes but I tend to think of those as being for mounted prints so matching standard mat sizes may still make sense in that market. Hope this isn't duplicated - I sent it before but the 'puter & yahoo were confused 'cos my wife was using it and has her own groups and sign in etc Anyway - Thanks Martin - I guess these are the boxes you were refering to http://www.lightimpressionsdirect.com/servlet/OnlineShopping? Dsp=20300&PCR=30000:190000:191000:191100:191110&R=6137 They're ok for storage. I was also hoping for something more 'presentable' for when you want to 'show' your prints - something like these boxes - http://www.lightimpressionsdirect.com/servlet/OnlineShopping? Dsp=20200&PCR=30000:180000:181000:181100:181110&R=9605 While on the general subject, anyone found precut mats at a good price (with Light Impressions' mats the picture window/opening is sized to the full paper dimension e.g. 11x17 or 8.5x11, which doesnt allow for a 1/4 inch or so of paper to tuck under the mat window. I think it'll make matting the image rather difficult). And sleeves to protect prints - are these what everyone's using ? http://www.lightimpressionsdirect.com/servlet/OnlineShopping? Dsp=20300&PCR=30000:160000:165000:165700&R=270 thanks Frank -- In DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@y..., "Martin Wesley" <mwesley250@e...> wrote: > Frank, > > Light Impressions now has storage boxes in all the sizes you mentioned and > 17x22 as well. Light Impressions does have lots of sizes, but they may not have it in stock! I placed an order on September 4th for a 14 x 17 inch Thinline Portfolio Box. It's still on back order! Bob
