printing on photo rag or velvet enhanced

I am using MIS-VM inks on a 1200 with Paul Roark's curves for EAM paper. I would like to try some other papers such as Photo Rag, Sommerset Velvet Enhanced, or others that have been suggested on the List recently. Am I correct in assuming that I can adjust for other papers using the Epson driver's transfer curves? If this is not of general interest I can be contacted off list at kobrins@.... Steve
