Best paper for grainy images

Best paper for grainy images

2002-11-09 by Chris Hargens

I have some 35mm (APX 400) images I like that are fairly grainy.
Anyone have any suggestions about what papers might be best suited to
print these images in a way enhances the grain effect? I'm currently
running VM inks using Roark's curves on an 1160.

If you want to "enhance" the grain effect I imagine you'd want the
smoothest paper you can find. Use EAM or Legion Photo Matte. The
latter especially is very smooth and bright for a matte paper.
