Latest Epson driver

Latest Epson driver

2002-11-10 by Steven Karafyllakis

Hi all;

For those of us using Epson scanners and still putting up with that
half-baked POS driver- Epson has a newer version that I picked up 3
weeks ago, that has some new features; It will now allow use of a
custom scanner ICM if you have a way of generating one; there is now
a densitometer, (though I haven't quite figured out what to do with
one of those yet,) and best of all, there is now a 'no color
adjustment' checkbox, which means (I think) that you can now output
a 16-bit raw scan if you want it. I don't know which models it
supports, but I'm using it with an exp. 1600 even though it was
listed for something much newer. It probably supports a lot of
different models, that seems to be the way they operate. The version
I have is 2.10A

Where did you get the driver?

Thanks,

That driver is available on the Epson USA site, along with a whole
lot of others, for most recent epson equipment. Try looking here:

http://support.epson.com/hardware/scanner/exp16_/index.html

or find your exact model ivia the 'select equipment' menu item on the
left column.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
