MIS FS & VM black: Identical?

MIS FS & VM black: Identical?

2002-11-13 by peter_in_seattle

Does anyone know for sure -- are the black inks used with the MIS FS and VM
inksets identical? I called MIS and they said they're different, but I thought I'd
seen on this list that they were the same. Can't find the old post, though.

Thanks,
Peter

Peter,

Unless things have changed -- and I doubt it -- the MIS FS and VM blacks
are the same ink.

Thanks Paul. What about the FS-N ink -- that's different, right?

Peter,

The FS-N midtones are different from the FS midtones. The FS-N midtones are
neutral/cool and non-warming (on EAM, papers react differently).
