If you want to print on glossy paper, the Lyson dye inkset is a
good choice. But if you are happy to print on matt finish papers
a pigment based inkset can offer advantages in terms of durability
and freedom from metamerism.

I use MIS VM inks in an Epson 1160 printer, and I am pleased
with the results I get, using Paul Roark's workflow.

Well and succinctly put Peter!

I use both..

Ther MIS VM's in a 1270.. The Lyson SG's in a 1280..

I use the tool I need based on the color range I need to repro and the
media I need to print on..

I'm a BIG fan of BOTH inksets..

using the Lyson SG-ink do you get such a dotless image as
with the piezography system and/or MIS VM's??
