Digital BW, The Print

Hello,

I have recently joined this group in my quest for achieving good BW 
prints. My printer is the Epson1270 and my Image processor PS7. I 
have been frustrated by the prints  that I obtain. They leave much 
to be desired: yellow, magenta or cyanide casts. The prints also 
lack punch...I have experimented with all sorts of printing spaces 
whether black or RGB as suggested by the various web sites dedicated 
to BW printing without being satisfied . I have so far used only 
Epson oem cartridges. 
I am looking for someone who has had success with this printer and 
who can offer me advice.
