Digital BW, The Print

I currently use a CIS (nomorecarts) with Gen4 inks in an Epson 1160 
to do all my printing. I'd like to do some occasional quadtone B/W 
printing too.

I've seen some information here about switching between CIS systems. 
But is there a practical way to switch between a CIS system and some 
MIS prefilled cartridges in an 1160? I just don't think I would have 
enough printing volume to have 2 CIS systems.

Shouldn't be a problem (I could pull my MIS Quadtone CFS system out 
and put it to the side without a problem anyway).  Just get the 
little plugs for your CIS and carts.  You'll waste ink switching, but 
since you will be using mostly color inks you probably won't have the 
same clogging problems that us B&W only folk have:)

PS  Are you really happy with your color 1160 output?  I felt that 
all my 1160 color highlights had way too much dots going on... how do 
you handle that?

I am currently running the Cone sepia ink set with a CIS in my 1280 
printer. I want to switch to the MIS VM sepia ink set. Can anyone 
tell me (in detail) how to get the Cone inks out of the CIS so I can 
put in the MIS set. Thanks in advance for any help.
