Rather than posting the report here, and ending up with threads all over 
the place on this. I think that those using Ultrachrome inks or 
considering the purchase of a printer using those inks (i.e. 2200, 7600, 
9600, or 10600) should, IMHO,  read the thread which starts here:

It includes a suggested workaround attributed to an EPSON rep by a 
reputable source.. (you'll recognize the source when you read his post - 
and the fact of a quick workaround offered up by EPSON means they have 
almost certainly gotten a more than statistically irrelevant number of 
reports)

I have been considering a 7600 myself but, based on these reports, I 
shall postpone a decision until the whole story is clear..

This seems, as reported,  not to be a fatal flaw, however, it could 
significantly impact any contemplated workflow..
