Austin, the 9 x12 box is made for holding 8.5 x 11 or 9x12 prints
(even sleeved). The 13x19 ones are large enough to take 3x19 prints
EVEN in 13x19 "crystal" envelopes...
Greg even sold the 9x12 boxes pre-packaged with 100 sheets of 8.5x11
BrightCube Eclipse Satine and the larger box filled with 13 x19 Eclipse..
What could you possibly mean therefore by "but alas, no 8.5 x 11 :-(" ?

Gregory, I appreciate that, but I really do want an 8.5 x 11 ID box, as the prints moving around in the box degrades them, so a box ID tight to the print size is beneficial. At least in my book. Austin,
Do you sleeve your stored prints? With Inkjet permanence being what it
is (unless you coat your prints like Mark Tucker or Paul), I highly
recommend it.. Even if you do, I would still recommend slightly
oversized interleaving paper between the stacked prints.. If/when you
sleeve or interleave you need the extra room to prevent print damage..
Whether or not you sleeve, you are more likely to have someone damaging
a print in forcing the box closed with 8.5 x 11 prints stacked in a
foldout type storage presentation box than you are to find the prints
damaged by shifting w/in the box.... Of course, if you are the ONLY
person who will ever open/close the box, feel free not to worry about
such damage.
Just my 2 cents..
