Digital BW, The Print

I am thinking of getting this scanner for scanning to the web and making
prints no larger than 8x10 - mostly B&W.  Can I ask what experiences in
detail people have had with this scanner.

I use the Canon 2710, which is exactly the same except it uses SCSI
instead of USB. It's a fine scanner - not an amazing one, but
perfectly fine. It seems to do especially well scanning bw stuff, I've
made some really amazing hextone prints from bw negs I scanned on this
gizmo.
