HP 930C b&w printing

I know must of you are using more appropriate printers (usually EPSON models) for B&W printing, but I am trying to get the best from my HP- 930C. Has anyone experience in b&w printing whith this printer? I have tried with HP photo premium plus paper, but the results are not very satisfactory.
