Custom paper sizes

Custom paper sizes

2003-01-12 by Wayne J. Cosshall

Hi gang,
I have a question. Over the period I've been testing printers (back through
the red wine foggy mists of memory :) it seems to me that more printer
drivers are no longer offering the option of a custom paper size, at least
on printers up to A3+ sized. Does this fit with your experience? What are
the printers around at present whose drivers let you set any arbitrary paper
size?

This question came up through a dialog I was having on another list with
someone who wanted to print very long but thin panorama like images

Cheers,
Wayne

I've tested the 780 870, 1280, no problem. My guess is you'll find
all the current and recent drivers do if something as cheap as the
780 will let you define custom sizes.
