I now can detect score or a pefectly linear scratch in dark areas
above maybe 90%k- which now seem to line up with Pizza wheels. This is
using letter sized Eclipse or Photorag paper.

Additionally, the rubber exit roller scuffs a 1/4 inch wide streak
across the dark areas. I've only seen one of these on Eclipse, so far.

I only see at most 4 scratch lines and one roller mark across print
(actually I was printing out test wedges), although many more wheels
and rollers are in contact with paper. If I re-print I can exactly
repeat the defect.

You have to have an expanse of heavy ink load with little detail so
that it won't be hidden. And you have to hold it at an angle to the
light, but it definitely is there.

I don't know if IP5 is just printing too fast at 1440 and the print
gets marked before the ink drys or what. Or whether it is entirely in
the 2200 and in that case, non IP5 users should see it as well. Maybe
I just have a defective printer. ANd it is mysterious also because
last week I only saw it on Photorag 308...but now on Eclipse which
didn't exhibit it before.

FWIW, I get these same scuff marks on solid black areas on my 870.

(pizza wheel dots too but only visible with a loupe)
