1280 Paper Pick-up

Any advice would be appreciated. My 1280 (3 months old) has started to have an annoying habit of not being able to pick up the paper. I am currently using Somerset Photo Enhance Velvet. This just started a few days ago. Are there any adjustments that can be made to eliminate this paper pick-up problem. Thanks Truman
