1.  MacWorld is a computer magazine; not a photography
magazine.   They are out of their league when talking about
this topic.

2.  But you CAN get perfectly neutral black and white
prints with the 2200, FOR A GIVEN VIEWING LIGHT.
The 2200's problem isn't neutral black and white; it's
metamerism.   I have no trouble getting neutral black
and white prints with my 2200 as long as I know what
light (incandescent, cold fluorescent, warm
fluorescent, open sky, no sun, or direct sun) I'm going
to be viewing the print under.

Ouch.

On the basis that MacWorld and other computer magazines 
position themselves as more than mere "messengers" of 
information, criticism of their follow-through in product reviews is 
warranted, even if my remark may have been somewhat 
scattershot. (Wayne Cosshall makes a more comprehensive 
case in his post).

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
