ImagePrint 5 B and W 1440 or 2880 ?

Imageprint 5 on Mac G4 running Jaguar. Epson Velvet Fine Art Paper on an Epson 2200 with Matte Black and the other ultrachrome inks . I am using the Colorbyte profile for 1440 gray Epson Velvet Fine Art. Is there any advantage to getting a 2880 profile. I am trying for the best quality print ink costs and time to print not crucial. Thanks for your help! Cliff
